Welcome to the BlogAboutGod!

This blog is all about God! His character, His promises, His love, His grace, His mercy, and His Son, Jesus Christ. It's a place to learn, ask questions, write the truth about His word, communicate with fellow believers and a way for those who want to learn all they can about our awesome Creator of the Universe and how He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for you and me and save us from our sin. Please be mindful of what you write and ask and let your words always honor the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If you are lost and without hope, you can find it here. If you are discouraged with the things the world offers and want something real, you can find it here. If you feel alone and no really cares or understands you, you can find the One who created you here. If you feel like God can never forgive you for the things you have done, you will learn the Truth that He can-- right here. I pray that God will bless what I write so that the hearts of all who read this blog are touched by His grace. I give all the honor and praise to Jesus our Savior. Amen!

Link from FemaleFootbalFansUnite

Good Morning--
Yesterday I made a reference on my other blog: FemaleFootballFansUnite about not having a secure future with the economy and in general not having anything secure in this world, but that there is one thing you can be sure about!
Therefore, this post is for those are linking here from my other blog in connection with salvation.
Romans 10: 9-13 are the verses that are written for one to find salvation in Jesus Christ and reads as follows: "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness (which is what we need to be in God's presence)and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame', For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved'.

If you have any questions about these verses and what it means for you and your life, please leave me a comment and I will get back to you right away. There is no more important decision you can make in your life than to decide on Jesus to be your Lord and Savior-the first step is believe you are a sinner and that the Bible says we deserve death for our punishment--eternal death that is --separation from God forever. But Jesus died in our place so that we could be with Him forever. He took our sins as a perfect sacrifice on the cross because He loves us more than we can fathom.Rejecting Jesus is rejecting God's perfect gift of grace and forgiveness.
Ask God for the faith to believe and accept His gift of forgiveness and salvation---then you can be sure that you will never be alone in this life and you will guarantee for yourself to be with God for eternity. My prayer today is that you take that step of faith!
